What if I stop paying and don’t complete all 12 payments?
If you stop paying, automatically you will lose access to the program. If you later decide to continue the program, you should contact customer service at info@milanartinstitute.com. You can start playing again and pick up where you left off only one time.
What can I expect after I sign up?
"After signing up, you will receive a welcome email with important information, including the following: a video lesson explaining the art supplies you’ll need for the program, a video lesson explaining how to prepare your studio, a syllabus for the entire year and a written list of all the art supplies you’ll need.
14 days before lessons start, you will receive access to more orientation videos. Follow the instructions on the videos and enjoy the process. If you signed up with a coach, your coach will also contact you on this day. Mark this day in your calendar, as it’s the start of the rest of your life as an artist."
What if I can’t get a mentor right now?
"If you’re not able to get a mentor when you sign up, you will still have the option to purchase spots on our group calls each month as you need them. In these calls, you can get advice and critiques on your art from one of our mentoring teams. You will share this call with other Mastery Program students.
Also, you can be put on our waiting list for a mentor and as soon as one is available you can purchase the mentoring option. The wait is usually only 30-60 days."
What art supplies do I need and how much it would cost?
You will need drawing, oil painting, and mixed media supplies to learn and start your new career. You can supply lists for each part of the program here.
When you register, we will send you a detailed list of the basic supplies that are required and some recommended supplies that are optional. The minimum cost for the whole year will be around $75 for drawing supplies, $400 for oil supplies, and $300 for mixed media supplies. You can also buy supplies as you need them throughout the program. You will only need drawing and oil supplies for the first 4 months and mixed media supplies after for the remainder of the year. These supplies will last you throughout the whole program and into the start of your career.
Can I choose my personal mentor?
All mentors on the team are professional artists and they will be automatically be assigned to you. They currently sell their works and have all completed the mastery program. They are all very dedicated and experienced. Their coaching team is hand-picked by Elli and Dimitra Milan.
How does Payment work?
"For the monthly option, when you register, you will be charged for the first month. For the Tuition only option, this will be $200. For the Tuition + Mentor option, you will be charged $300 and then charged every 30 days automatically once the program starts. There are a total of 12 payments.
From the day you receive your first lesson, you have 1 year of content being provided on a weekly basis. Once you have completed the entire year, you will have lifetime access to the lessons, allowing you to revisit lessons and watch new content when it is updated.
For the Pay in Full options, you will be charged the full amount, minus a discount, and have access to the entirety of the program content.

Will Dimitra or Elli be coaches?
Dimitra and Elli are both a central part of the mentoring team. They will not be mentoring students personally, however. They will utilize their time working with the mentors and offering their input on critiques and mentoring. They have hand-picked this team of professionally trained mentors who are capable of providing excellent support on their own.
