Defense Soap 4 Ounce Bar review:
- I have suffered endlessly for YEARS with chronic small infected cysts or boil type things that I get on my upper thigh/pubic area. I am a very clean person and have tried everything from antibiotics to different medical ointments. Sometimes I have even had to have them lanced. They can be very painful too. Essentially hair follicles get infected. This soap has been life changing. Since using this if I even do get one, it goes away within a day or so and does not seem to get as inflamed. I use this soap every time "down there". I don't use it all over my whole body because I don't particular love the smell of it. I will say it is not a very strong scent so it doesn't bother me but it sort of smells like mild Vicks Vapo rub. I prefer to use a more girly soap for the rest of my body. Anyway I can't recommend or praise this product enough it has honestly changed my life! BUY IT! It is pricey but SO SO SO worth every penny.
- I give off a lot of heat and I have a strong personal hygiene. One of my main problems since I was in high school was the problem with jotch itch/sweat during the nights. I would be fine during the entire day but would wake up in the middle of the night, sweating, sticking and itchy down in my jotch region. MD told me to use clotomizole any night i need it (after going through a course of treatment)...so for the past 15 years... 2-3 times a week, I had to apply it to my jotch region before sleeping to keep these problems in check. This defense soap has fixed the problem. I used it every time I shower. Its a great soap. I dont wake up with extreme itchiness, sweating or stickiness. It took about 2 weeks for it to fully work. Hopefully this soap will help someone else as it did so much for me.
- Defense Soap worked very well for my anti-fungal needs! No one likes to admit fungal skin problems, but they do happen. In my case after weeks on antibiotics I had a fungal outbreak on the skin in the middle of my upper back. Right where I couldn't reach to apply the cream the Dr. prescribed and living alone, well, you can imagine the frustration! I came across Defense soap when looking for a solution I could use and I'm really glad I gave this a try! The all natural ingredients attracted me and when I got it I was pleased at the nice eucalyptus and tea tree oil scent and how it did not dry my skin. I thought it was expensive but given how well it worked for me I now see it as good value. BUT the best part is how well it worked getting rid of my fungus problem.Â

- For quite some time I've been dealing with that annoying 'male itch' issue. When it first started I thought maybe I was having a reaction to laundry detergent or fabric softener but that wasn't it. Almost as soon as I got into bed it would start. I've used sprays and numerous other things to try and deal with it. Occasionally it was bad enough it would wake me up at 2am and I'd have to find something that would work to shut it down. One night might be medicated talc, another night it might be a spray, but it was pretty much a nightly thing if not when I went to bed then sometime during the night.
- Our son is a wrestler, and had to watch out for the occasional ringworm infection. Since using this soap, we have not seen any skin infections! If they would lower the price a bit, I would give it 5 stars!!
- I struggled with recurring jock itch for about two years, it would come back every six months or so and Iâd have to get a prescription cream because OTC wouldnât cut it. This was kinda embarrassing as a woman, because most jock itch stuff is geared towards men. I decided to be proactive and bought this 5-pack, but I didnât really know if it was helping because I had the prescription cream. Well I kept using the bars (basically just to use them up) and they lasted me two years (showering usually every day) and I never had a recurrence. I kinda forgot about jock itch all together. Fast forward to two days ago, when, after I ran out two weeks ago and started using regular soap, I began seeing the signs of jock itch again. I think I caught it early enough that OTC cream will be fine, but thank goodness for Prime because I needed this soap ASAP! I didnât realize how much it was doing for me. It canât be coincidence that two weeks after I stop using it, the dreaded rash rears itâs ugly head.
- Soap had nothing to do with the palm problems. I use this soap all the time now and really like how it foams. I leave it on for a few minutes and don't worry about jock itch anymore. Not sure if this soap had anything to do with my Hyperlinear Palm Eczema but I came down with that shortly after trying this soap. I bought the soap after reading all the good reviews and I know that tea tree oil can be very healing. I had a case of jock itch and thought this soap would be the answer to preventing it again. Now I'm not sure what to do. Had to go to dermatologist and he prescribed a powerful ointment and wearing gloves at night with the ointment. It could have been a coincidence but for the time being I'm not going to use the soap.
